The need

Usable energy depends on the condition of the cell.

  1. 01

    The weakest link

    Imbalance locks capacity to the weakest cell. Active energy transfer between packs aims to draw the capacity of the whole container.

  2. 02

    A limit drawn from measurement

    Operating limits are mostly drawn today from cycle counts and temperature tables. Cell-level measurement makes it possible to draw the limit from the cell's condition that day.

  3. 03

    The language finance reads

    Asset owners, banks and investors want to see failure probability, expected loss and revenue risk. We are developing Fleet to produce that language from site data.

Our approach

Draw the limit from measurement, not from paper.

In our design, Sense reads each cell's internal resistance and chemical state, Core moves energy between packs and Site carries that information into the dispatch decision. Fleet brings the technical and commercial data of many sites together.
